Organic Carignan vieilles vignes
This rich, dark red combines notes of blueberry, morello cherry and cocoa. Luxurious, fruity and full, its superb schist terroir gives it a gentle mineral finish and a silky, tannic texture.
Our Carignan grapes are partially de-stemmed then soaked for five weeks to release their rich, dark flavours. After fermenting in stainless steel, the wine is matured for fourteen months, perfecting its careful balance of tannins.
The vineyard is quietly nestled in the Haut-Languedoc national park and we are delighted to welcome visitors for tastings, walks and more. With sweeping views down to the Mediterranean and, at our heart, the huge meteorite crater after which we are named, it is a truly one-of-a-kind place to visit.
