The story behind the wine...

Working with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Domaine du Météore have created 2 wines, representing the link between nature and art, the South of France and Vincent himself. Just as Vincent captured the essence of the beauty of these southern landscapes in his paintings, Domaine du Météore creates wines born from this same terroir.

The grapes are destemmed, then vinified in stainless steel tanks and the tannins and colour are extracted using several traditional methods (pumping-over, racking and pigeage).

Tasting Notes

Deep purple in colour with carmine red reflections and an aromatic nose combining intense blackcurrant with the freshness of balsamic and the garrigue.
The palate is fresh and easy with a long and spicy finish.
